How much time do I need to place an order?
Lead time is 1-2 weeks, which is required before we ship. One week is generally acceptable, but i t may take up to two weeks during major holidays like Christmas, New Year's, or Mother's Day. Please allow for this and add to the time frame of your chosen delivery option.
Can I get a specific color?
If you are unsure about the colors we have listed, and want to be sure that your favors or gifts will match a specific color...have no fear! We offer complimentary Color Matching. Simply mail us a swatch after you have place your order, and we'll try our best to get it exact. Please Note: Some color tend to take on a different hue once they start to dry. Light gray, for instance, takes on a purple-ish tone. It isn't very noticable, but you should take it into account when ordering.

Do you offer Metallic Colors?
Currently, we only offer metallic colors on a per-order basis at an additional fee. We are researching better ways to make these beautiful colors more readily available for anyone who is interested.
Do you offer Custom Designs?
Yes! Just let us know what you would like and we will work with you to create your perfect cookie.
You may email a picture or drawing to custom@CookieLane.com, as an attachment in .jpg, .jpeg, .tiff, or .pdf format. Make sure that you clearly mark your dimensions. You may also fill out the Contact form and send us your ideas.
There are many cutter designs that we have in stock that may not be currently posted on our site. If we are able to use one of these cutters, there is no additional charge for your custom design. Otherwise, an additional charge of $50 will be billed to you after your order is received, to create a custom cutter. This fee does not apply to orders of 100+ cookies.

Cookie Favors come individually heat-sealed in crystal-clear poly bags (to retain freshness), tied with a bow of elegant black satin ribbon. Additional colors are available upon request.
Cookie Gifts come individually heat-sealed in crystal-clear poly bags, and nestled in a white box filled with white crinkle paper. The box is then tied with a bow of elegant black satin ribbon.
Do you use Royal Icing on your Cookies?
No way! Who needs their cookies to last for 6 months anyways?
In our research, we've found that we don't like to eat cookies that have to be broken with a hammer before being consumed. That is why we use our own special icing that dries firm enough to ship, but won't chip a tooth. It also retains a sort of satiny gloss that is rather becoming. We like soft cookies and soft icing, and we hope you will too.
What is the shelf life of your cookies?
Our cookies are baked fresh and have a shelf life of up to three (3) weeks. Although, we do suggest consuming within a couple days of arrival because even with the sealed packaging, moisture loss will still occur. We try to ship your order so that it arrives shortly before your event date, to prevent this problem.
Do you use Natural Almond Flavoring?
No, and here's why. We love using all-natural ingredients including real butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Unfortunately, some people have allergies to some natural ingredients, like nuts. That's why we use artificial flavoring instead of real almond oil extract.Almond is just one of three flavor options that we offer. Don't forget to try our classic Vanilla and Peppermint, too!
